My [OuteR HeaveN] EDM project was brought back to life once again during my spring semester @ SNC! The season itself was short but rather sweet. Note: future mixes are planned to be produced during my senior year. Season III’s mixes were spun live on WSNC Radio three Tuesday nights from 7-8 pm on my weekly WSNC Radio show, PLURALITY, this past spring semester. All of the details for these mixes were posted on my facebook group, PLURALITY -with- SOULDIER VII, which contains the 411 on all of my latest DJ projects.
[OuteR HeaveN] is a weekly (when I could), one-of-a-kind, pumpin ‘n’ thumpin, one hour continuous dance mix, spun live on the Denon turntables for your listening pleasure! It’s focus: to bring you the latest and most meaningful tracks to date, straight from the number one source for dance music, beatport.com. Think Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and NYC’s club scenes all rolled into one session — we’re talking about some phat beats peeps! MP3 recordings of each mix are archived here incase you desire another chance to hear these dancefloor destroyers.
Now is the time to let the music transcend you to a higher level of consciousness that exists deep within yourself. Let’s tear down our walls and open our ears to the sounds before us. Enjoy these mixes and spread the PLUR (Peace Love Unity and Respect) - it’s not just a phrase, but a lifestyle!
(Please note: Seasons I and II was recorded during my sophomore semester at SNC (’06-’07). Season III is being recorded using Audacity, an awesome open source sound-recording program, during the Spring ‘08 semester of my junior year. Season I and III mixes are one hour in length, whereas Season II mixes are a half an hour in length.)
