Here’s a handful of mixes I created during my freshman year at SNC using Virtual DJ, a stellar program for amateur DJ’s and professionals alike. If you are looking to mix on a desktop or laptop rather than on CD or vinyl turntables, I highly recommend this program as it is remarkably flexible with its interface and allows you to add many interesting effects to your mixes, as well as record your projects at any bitrate. If you are looking to learn more about DJ’ing and the technical aspects of what a DJ faces while mixing, Virtual DJ would be an ideal place to start your journey.
